30 days ago Brad left the Atlantic shore to bike 40 days across America to bring awareness to our nation's need for prayer.  Inspired by R.A. Tory's book “The Power of Prayer”, he is blazing a trail from shore to shore for the Lord.  Immersed in prayer and training himself, Brad knows that “All to God's glory if I make it across country”.  Every step of the way in preparing God has gone before Brad.  Brad like many Christians is disheartened  when he sees only the negative news of Christianity getting media coverage and also by how many Christians have relinquished prayer out of our own Churches.  What is called a prayer meeting has evolved into a Bible Study at best with a few prayers added in.  It's easy to point out the problems.  Brad is acting on his burden by taking the message of prayer to the nation one mile at a time, challenging his own endurance and God's faithfulness.  A friend of Brad's who almost died while in a coma shared with Brad that he never understood prayer until it was the only thing he had to hold on to.  Brad will be holding on to handles bars and prayer .  Brad has dared to try God and found that He is good (Psalms 34:8), that He is exceedingly and abundantly able (Ephesians 3:20), and if we have not, maybe it's because we asked not (James 4:2).
